| | I need to start practicing Japanese... so here I'll just be forming random sentences and putting the meanings underneath them. These are somewhat higher level sentences than just ~desu and ~masu, etc.
If I make any mistakes, please correct me. =)
Base 1 Sentences
~ない「です」 ~do not/will not
- EX: にほんごがわからない「I do not understand Japanese」
- うみがおよぐない「I do not swim in ocean.」
～ないで ~ without doing/without having done
- EX: 宿題をしないで、がっこうにでかけてしまいました「He went off to school w/o doing his homework.」
- おんながせんたくしないで「Girl did not do laundry.」
